Ingredients

  • 500 g Coles No Added Hormone Beef 3 Star Regular Mince
  • 1 each Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 5 g Parsley
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 200 g Greek Yogurt
  • 1 each Cucumber
  • 2 each Tomato
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 4 pieces Flatbread or Pita

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, finely chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape each portion into long oval-shaped kebabs on skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill or barbecue over medium-high heat. Brush the kebabs lightly with olive oil.
  4. Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt sauce by combining Greek yogurt with a drizzle of lemon juice, salt, and finely chopped parsley.
  6. Slice cucumbers and tomatoes thinly for the salad.
  7. Serve the kebabs hot with yogurt sauce, a side salad of cucumber and tomato, and warm flatbread or pita.
