Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken mince
  • 8 each Corn tortillas
  • 1 head Lettuce
  • 3 each Tomatoes
  • 1 each Avocado
  • 100 ml Sour cream
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1.5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken mince to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula or wooden spoon until browned.
  3. Stir in 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice. Cook for another 2 minutes until spices are well blended and the chicken is flavorful.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a hot skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft.
  5. Thinly slice the lettuce, finely chop the tomatoes, and slice the avocado.
  6. Assemble the tacos: Place a generous spoonful of the cooked chicken mince onto each corn tortilla.
  7. Top with sliced lettuce, chopped tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream, and sliced avocado.
  8. Sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander and an additional drizzle of lime juice if desired.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your spicy chicken mince tacos!
